Kirby Fenwick is a writer, editor, researcher and award-winning audio producer from Naarm (Melbourne), Australia.

Kirby is a co-founder of Siren: A Women in Sport Collective.

Kirby’s written work has been featured on Siren Sport, ABC Sport, The Guardian, Eureka Street, Melbourne City of Literature and the Emerging Writers Festival, among others. She has shared her research at several conferences including TASA, SMAANZ, IWSS and ASSH.

She was a participant in the Wheeler Centre’s Signal Boost program for emerging audio producers in 2021/22. She is a regular co-host of the Siren Sport podcast, and between 2019 and 2020, produced a segment called Voices From The Stands for Triple R’s Kick Like A Girl.

Kirby’s audio documentary, The First Friday in February, which tells the story of the very first AFLW game, was awarded the 2018 Oral History Victoria Award.
